The Toronto real estate market is red-hot and while this is fantastic for sellers, buyers might increasingly want to look elsewhere. Especially for those who are looking for a change of pace, selling a Toronto property might pay dividends in exploring options both domestically and abroad. If you are interested in exploring opportunities outside of the GTA, I am here to help you with this as well, giving you access to local knowledge and expertise whatever the location.
WHAT DOES THIS SERVICE DO FOR YOU?
When you are exploring property options in a totally new location it is difficult to know what agent to hire and who to trust with this major investment. If you don’t have someone on your side who you know is working in your best interests it can be very hard to know if and when you are making the right decision. You will not only want to ensure that you are making a sound investment, but when you are exploring new areas and opportunities, you want some accurate local knowledge to give you real insight into the fresh lifestyle options available to you.
I will help you find the right agent to suit your real estate needs almost anywhere in the world.
WHY DOES IT WORK SO WELL FOR MY CLIENTS?
The real estate business is a constantly evolving and fluid one where things are constantly happening behind the scenes. Having been active in the industry for 36 years I can bring all my expertise and insight to bear for your benefit.
As a highly experienced agent I have developed strong relationships with others in the business. Because of my knowledge and understanding of the industry I was asked to be the manager of an office in Toronto. As such, I understand how they run and I communicate with other offices to find the right agents for each of my clients – no matter their location. In addition, my background in human resources means that I utilize my interviewing skills to their fullest in order to locate the best agents that I would recommend to you based on your needs and desires.
As in all of my other real estate services, I handle all of the details myself to ensure that you will be totally satisfied with your service. No junior agents or assistant is involved. I will personally be searching for the best agent specifically for you and your needs.
EXPERIENCES FROM PAST CLIENTS - THE GOOD AND BAD
THE BAD: When J and J asked me to sell their home in Toronto to move to B.C. I offered to find them a good agent in the area in which they would be searching. They thanked me for the offer but explained that they had gone on-line and contacted an agent who had a listing that they thought looked interesting. A couple of months later I received an urgent call from them. They had found a house with this agent and were planning to make an offer on the property the next morning. However, when they took a walk down that street one last time they bumped into a neighbour who told them that there was a motor cycle gang clubhouse on the corner!! Needless to say this was definitely NOT the house they wanted to buy.
THE GOOD: These clients asked me to source an agent for them. I did my research about agents that were experienced, knowledgeable about the area of interest and had a good reputation. They were thrilled to work with an agent who was compatible with their needs and personality, had plenty of experience and had a concern for their best interests. Even though these buyers were very astute business people, in a new city it is always difficult to know who to deal with.
(Please note: I am not suggesting that the first agent was dishonest. Perhaps they were new to the industry or just didn’t know that area of the city)
THE GOOD: V and M had a wonderful holiday in Florida, decided that they wanted a second home there and found what they thought was the perfect property. They called me as they didn’t believe that they should buy through the listing agent. They asked me to find them a good agent to work on their behalf in Florida. I was happy to do so and they ended up buying something totally different but which they felt suited their needs even more than the one they first found.
THE GOOD: When M and F left Toronto they asked me to find a good agent to help them find a great home in the interior of B.C. Not only did they feel that the agent I found was experienced and knowledgeable about their new city, and gave good advice, but they also had much in common. They tell me that the entire experience was positive and they are thrilled with their new home.
